Delight a child with this charming PB&J pig. First, assemble a regular peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Use a cookie cutter or knife to cut it into a circle. Trim the two bottom corners slightly and place them next to the circle to form ears.
Find an end-piece from the bread loaf. Trim or cookie-cut a smaller circle from it. Coat the underside with peanut butter and put it (crust-side up) on top of the round sandwich. Using a sharp knife, poke two holes for eyes and insert raisins. Using a knife or fingers remove some of the crust on the snout to form two nostrils.
If packing, use crumpled wax paper to prevent parts from moving during transportation.
|Home-made play dough animals|
It turns out homemade playdough is MUCH nicer than the store-bought type. Aside from the pleasant fruity smell from the kool-aid used to dye it, it's proved a lot more resilient.
