Sew a quick little duck softee for little hands.
Download the pattern sheet and print.
Cut pieces as indicated from a soft fabric such as flannel or fleece. Cut the bill pieces out of a contrasting or coordinating fabric.
Use an indelible marker or embroidery thread to add the eye and eye-lashes to each top piece.
Place the two duck body pieces right sides together and sew around the top half, from A to B.
Place the bottom piece in the open space.
Sew most of the way around the bottom, leaving a space (marked by the red dots in the diagram below) open for turning.
Turn inside out and stuff with fiberfill. Hand stitch the opening closed.
Stitch the two bill pieces to each other, leaving the back part open. Turn inside out and slip over the bill stump on the body. Turn under the edges of the bill and, using tiny stitches, applique the bill onto the body.
Place two of the wing pieces face to face and sew almost all the way around, leaving a gap for turning. Turn inside out and hand stitch the opening closed. Repeat for the other wing.
Using small stitches, attach the wings to the body.
