Planting dates are very given as a range rather than an exact date. Plus or minus a week or two will probably be okay as long as you don't get unlucky with the weather. Planting dates for individual plants were taken from a variety of on-line and off-line sources. Where the sources disagreed, I picked a number that sounded reasonable to me based on my experience. Someone else could pick a different number, and your particular gardenening situation or variety might suggest a better date, so make adjustments to your schedule as needed; this schedule is provided as a starting point for your own experiments.
